Quartz (''Japan Twin'')

Item Description

A good sized, showy display specimen of Quartz featuring a fairly thick, gemmy, colorless "Japan-law twin" with a few additional Quartz crystals from the Pampa Blanca District in Peru. A tiny bit of sparkling olive-green Epidote can be seen on the base of the specimen. The piece is actually very close to being a "floater", as the base of the specimen is largely re-crystallized ("re-healed"), with little crystal faces all over. There is a small nick on the right side of the twin, but otherwise in very good condition. My favorite aspect of the piece is that it sits quite nicely on its own without the aid of a base or clay.
