Here we have a wonderful showy large miniature / small cabinet display specimen from the famous Huayllapon Mine in Peru featuring a handful of razor-sharp, highly lustrous, colorless Japan-Law twins of Quartz measuring up to 2.0 cm across associated with additional single prisms of Quartz on matrix. The vast majority of the crystals are WATER CLEAR, and the overall quality is about as good as it gets for the locality. A few minor nicks can be seen here and there, but the piece is in very good shape compared to many which are often badly damaged. I love how the defined striations on the broad faces of the crystals shines in the light. A wonderful piece of this classic, well-known and now hard to find material.
