Item Description

The Japan-Law twin Quartz specimens from this mine are well known in the mineral world, and this piece is a nice example of said material. The specimen hosts a beautiful, very gemmy, colorless 1.0 cm Japan-Law twin Quartz along with a few prismatic Quartz crystals. The overall quality is superb, and the assocaited light green Wavellite makes for a beautiful color contrast. Siglo XX is one of the most impressive Bolivian localities hands down for the diversity of minerals and the quantity of specimens produced for over a century. It is the type locality for many "best in the world" species, and it even produces some amazing specimens of common species like Quartz. Valued at $500. Enjoy!
