Item Description

Siglo XX is one of the most impressive Bolivian localities hands down. It is the type locality for many "best in the world" species, and it even produces some amazing specimens of common species like Quartz. The Japan-Law twin Quartz specimens are well known in the mineral world, and this piece is a great example of said material. The specimen hosts a pair of beautiful, very gemmy, colorless Japan-Law twinned Quartzes measuring up to 4.2 cm across, along with additional prismatic Quartz crystals on matrix. The overall aesthetics are good, and the piece truly looks better in person since it was so difficult to photograph. In great condition overall, a worthwhile display specimen of this classic material. Valued at $1850 in the inventory. Enjoy!
