Quartz (Japan Law twin)

A classic, 4.2 cm across, water-clear, tabular Japan Law twin quartz crystal dominates this rich and very showy quartz plate from the Itremo massif of Madagascar. The impressive, tabular, gem quartz crystal behind the twin is 4.0 cm tall. The myriad of quartz crystals on the sculptural small cabinet plate are pristine. Japan Law twins are UNCOMMON from the massif, which is better known for green Fuchsite (a Chrome-rich Muscovite varietal) included quartz, hematite-included quartz and excellent quartz crystals. From the Bill Larson Quartz collection case, of approximately 250 specimens, which we bought in 2023. It was a long-term, very diverse mix on display for decades at the Pala International shop as an educational and fun exhibit. It was started back in the late 1970s. A rare and excellent Japan Law twin quartz from the well-known locale.
