Item Description
An impressive and superb small cabinet two-sided Japan-law twinned quartz from the Washington Camp area, well-known for excellent and attractive quartz specimens. The nicely balanced, water-clear flattened blades are enhanced by the two different termination styles of the blades, the large blade with the chisel termination, the smaller blade with the spear point termination and the lustrous stepped-growth faces. The frosted edge faces, many beveled and the small perpendicular crystal on one side in the center add even more allure to this very fine example. Japan-law twin quartz specimens from Washington Camp are considered among the finest USA examples of the species and this is an outstanding example. From a 1992 find.
