Item Description
A cool rough and cut set featuring inclusion pieces. Quartz is the most "inclusion friendly" mineral out there, and due to the variety of minerals that are included in Quartz, it can make for some interesting and unique gems. The specimen in this set is from a place called Pyramida (sp?) in the Urals of Russia. Several, very sharp and highly lustrous colorless Quartz crystals are included with thin, acicular black crystals of Schorl Tourmaline. The matching stone is very good sized gem from Pakistan and features a solitary "needle" of Schorl that was positioned directly in the center of the table of the gem to create a wonderful effect when viewed from above. The lone "needle" reflects on every side of the stone to create a kaleidoscope effect, so you see it repeated all around. A cool set for any collector of inclusions gems or minerals. Valued at $1200
