Quartz included with Rutile (ex Conklin)

Item Description

This piece is a cool example of this classic material featuring golden Rutile "needles" included in Smoky Quartz crystals. Sharp and well-formed Quartz that is beautifully accented by the wonderful internal Rutile inclusions. It's not completely damage free, as there are some nicks here and there, including the termination. The piece comes to us from an old East Coast collection with a label from noted and recently deceased New York mineral dealer, Larry Conklin.
