Item Description
This is a very distinctive Aouli Quartz with the classic stark red color, similar to those from the Orange River in South Africa. The crystals are complete, sharp, lustrous semi "beta"-looking crystals with great form and are about 90% included with elegant red Hematite. You do not see these any more, and they are simply some of the most unique Quartz specimens to ever come out of Morocco. This piece came from the Brian Kosnar collection and was mined around 1979.
