Quartz included with Hematite

Item Description

This aesthetic and impressive specimen is about as brick-red as quartz can get. Obviously the crystals are included with about as much hematite (or some other kind of iron oxide) as I have seen from any locality, but the effect is dazzling. The hematite color-zoning is nifty, in itself. The quartz crystals have impactful brick-red color and the crystals are super glassy/lustrous. It looks like Thunder Bay or Orange River material, but it's from China. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, a bit of trivial is noted, but is certainly not a detraction. Excellent material from this locale.
