Quartz included with Dumortierite (rare and fine)

This fantastic cabinet sized specimen is a robust, sharp, well-formed, euhedral, white / colorless translucent Quartz crystal with notably strong indigo colored, thin fibrous inclusions of Dumortierite frozen within. Some of you might have seen this material in the gem / lapidary trade, and there are broken "chunks" out there on the market, but to find a piece of actual CRYSTALLIZED Quartz with these Dumortierite inclusions is rather rare in my experience. There are some contacted areas, so the piece is not 100% damage, free, but it is crystallized on the front and back, and the combination of the two species together is notably hard to find in nature. The alluring color of the Dumortierite makes it all the more appealing, as few minerals have this exact hue. If you collect Quartz or inclusion specimens, this is a great opportunity to pick up a piece of this rarely seen material from the Vaca Morta Quarry in Bahia. One of the largest crystallized specimens we've had of this material, and incredibly rare in the mineral world. Specimen weight is 369.60 grams.
