Quartz included with Actinolite ("Byssolite") (ex Obodda)

Alpine localities are well known for producing superb Adularia specimens, but there are a few "Alpine-type" localities in the Himalayas of Pakistan that produce some great specimens in their own right. This specimen hosts beautiful bluish-green color "threads" of "Byssolite" (a variety of Actinolite) that are included within sharp, lustrous, gemmy colorless Quartz crystals. The "Byssolite" crystals are very reminiscent of cotton candy. A great specimen of this contemporary classic material. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
