Rutile included in quartz specimens are very rare compared to the gorgeous and famous brookite and brookite included in quartz pieces from Taftan. Striking sprays of splendent, golden-brown rutile needles with some brookite crystals are richly included in many of the transparent quartz crystals on this impressive and excellent large plate. The quartz crystals reach 4.0 cm (DT) and several are doubly terminated. Choice, rich, showy and rare large combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
