Item Description
An aesthetic and striking cluster of sharp, lustrous, quartz crystals included with green hedenbergite. The dominant, central quartz crystal is 3.5 cm tall and the sharp terminations are noteworthy on this piece. The quartz crystals rest on a matrix that is very rich in andradite garnet microcrystals. This excellent piece is complete all-around, pristine and looks great from either side. A fine example of the combination species, this specimen was collected near the Blue River, 180 km from Dal'negorsk, Russia in 2001.
