Item Description
These fine and iconic Quartz specimens are truly some of the most easily recognizable examples of Quartz in the world. Their characteristic form and sheer clarity of the crystals makes them true classics. These piece for years were referred to as "Herkimer Diamonds", but mindat.org defines them simply as "Herkimer-Style" Quartz. This piece features a pair of WATER-CLEAR, sharp, highly lustrous, doubly-terminated "stubby" crystals with fine colorless internal purity. Minor black Bitumen/hydrocarbon inclusions can be seen as well. Both crystals are doubly-terminated, and the piece is crystallized all over, making it a complete "floater".
