Item Description
A classic, stout, sharply terminated Herkimer quartz "diamond" is aesthetically perched atop two smaller quartz crystals from this famous locale. The beautiful large "diamond" is water-clear, very glassy and highly lustrous. You can see the included and embedded bitumen on the contacted back of the piece. The 5.0 cm quartz crystal at the base is doubly terminated. The modest bit of internal crazing at the base of the Herkimer is certainly a minimal detraction to this impressive small cabinet. The piece displays beautifully without aid. A very fine Herkimer quartz from the well-known locale.
