A gorgeous 360-degree tower of power made up of GEM CLEAR modified quartz crystals of the so-called 'Herkimer Diamond' habit, this is a dramatic example from this classic American locale. It is perfection all around, and has such a nice balance to it! Unlike most, it stands up nicely and vertically on its own natural base, a flat face of the bottom crystal. #3602 in the Halpern collection, and although there are bigger specimens, there are not finer. For the size (large miniature/small cabinet) it is a really special example as you can see in the photos and video. Note, one should assume that any cluster of these has at least 1 repair, if not more - it is just the nature of the deposit to produce collapsed pockets.So, whether stabilized or repaired or not, I tend to label all such Herkimer clusters as repaired to be on the safe side of disclosure.
