These are some of the most well-known Quartz specimens in the world. This is a very attractive matrix specimen hosting a very gemmy, sharp, highly lustrous, bipyramidal, doubly-terminated "stubby" crystal of "Herkimer Diamond" measuring 5.2 sitting on matrix. There is only a tiny bit of damage on the specimen and very aesthetic for the size. Some minor hydrocarbon inclusions can be seen as well. Valued at $450.
