Quartz ("Herkimer Diamond")

Item Description

Composed of 4 connected, glassy and gemmy, colorless crystals of quartz (Herkimer Diamonds), to 5.5 cm across, this cluster is highlighted by the equant crystal on the upper left side. This is a large and dramatic cluster. As with (nearly) all such, it is of course repaired at the points of crystal to crystal contact. There is minor damage to the bottom crysatl, but the rest are intact and it is actually a floater as well. Classic old NY state material!
