Item Description
Elegant, facet-like, diverging pair of gem Herkimer quartz "diamonds" from the famous Ace of Diamonds Mines at Middleville. The impressive, water-clear, doubly terminated crystals, to 2.8 cm, are pleasingly attached to two, smaller doubly terminated crystals. The pristine, 360-degree miniature is markedly enhanced by the movable bubble in the large crystal. Included flakes of shale or bitumen plus a few interior clouds add even more character. A very fine aesthetic cluster of Herkimer quartz "diamonds" in this size range with a movable bubble from the Brooks Britt Collection.
