Another fascinating and highly unusual, small cabinet, floater quartz crystal, this time from the famous Herkimer quartz deposits of Middleville, Herkimer County, New York. The very glassy and transparent tabular crystal has bizarre triangular, tabular form. Most Herkimer quartz from here looks faceted. The primary frontal face on the crystallized front is dramatically accented with skeletal features. The distinctive back face is contacted, but there appears to be no damage, per se.
