Item Description
A lovely classic example of these famous "Herkimer Diamond" Quartz specimens from upstate New York. This show small cabinet specimen hosts a very gemmy, SLIGHTLY smoky colored, doubly-terminated crystal of Quartz with remarkably well-formed, lustrous sharp faces, along with a smaller Quartz crystal underneath. Most of these specimens from the Middleville area are repaired, but this one is NOT, which is significant for any piece that features more than one crystal. A really attractive and special example of these world-famous Quartz specimens. A very showy and fine quality example of these distinctive and iconic specimens.
