Item Description

This dramatic quartz specimen has the most incredible, sharp and colorful phantoms you could possibly imagine! An open-sided "tent" of bright, sparkly, green chlorite sits above rust-red, dentritic hematite. The sharply terminated, water-clear crystal has some lightly frosted/etched faces. The sculptural quality is obviously most dramatic. A couple of small divots are noted in a termination face, but certainly have no impact on the surreal impact of this over-the-top, 360-degree specimen. Ex Herb Obodda Collection # 3035. Unique! this is one of only three from this pocket I have seen over the years and all trace back to dealer Gilbert Gauthier (now deceased) who brought them out in the mid 1990s. valued $750
