A dramatic and rare combination specimen from recent finds at this now famous mine in Mongolia. A striking needle-like, tapered quartz crystal is attached to fragments of other quartz crystals. The lustrous, translucent, pseudohexagonal crystals are richly included with olive-green hedenbergite. The spike is pristine. This rare combination includes sections of very glassy, translucent to opaque, prismatic, clove-brown hedenbergite crystals. This striking combination piece is easily the match for Serifos, Greece or Dalnegorsk, Russia specimens. Stunning.
