Item Description
Quartz geodes are well known and plentiful from the limestone quarries of Keokuk, Iowa. Glassy, transparent to translucent, quartz crystals (some tinted yellow by iron oxides) line the cavernous geode. Ex Harold Urish Collection and acquired in August, 1991. Excellent material.
