Item Description
Large round brilliant flawless gemstone of quartz, superbly cut for mine owner James Zigras and from his collection. This is an eye-clean, large stone from the Vortex Pocket, Zigras Mine, Garland Co. This pocket is famous for the clarity of the crystal tips. Such stones in smaller sizes are now seen turning up, more and more often, in custom jewelry sold to the public and as an American gemstone, and stones of this brilliance in this size are not as common as you would think.
