Quartz (GEM quality) (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

Fine quality, WATER CLEAR crystals of well-formed, prismatic, hexagonal, colorless Quartz in parallel growth from Hot Springs, Arkansas. The largest crystal measures 5.1 cm long. The piece is in excellent condition, and the aesthetics leave nothing to be desired. I especially like the large pronounced "r" face of the biggest crystal on the specimen. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5042). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
