Item Description

A fantastic full cabinet-sized specimen of top quality Quartz crystals from the San Cristobal Pegmatite (Alto de Cruces Mine) in Colombia. The piece beautiful crystallized plate, filled with dozens of razor-sharp, highly lustrous, GEM QUALITY, optically pure (colorless) prismatic crystals, measuring up to 5.3 cm long, free of matrix. The underside of the piece features delicate hollow "casts" after a preexisting mineral (possibly Calcite?). No major damage I can find, and highly displayable.
