Item Description
A showy large combination piece from the Herb Obodda dealer stock and dates to the early 1990s, when Dalnegorsk material first reached Western markets. The forest of glassy quartz prisms are accented with splendent galena cuboctahedrons, classic and beautiful "invisible" fluorite cubes and golden chalcopyrite and black sphalerite crystals on the backside. The 1.6 cm, sharp, melted-look galena with the hoppered faces and nearby fluorites, to 9 mm, are highlights. There are quite a few more fluorites hidden among the quartz crystals. The front is in good shape, with modest periphery wear noted. The back has bruised crystals. This remains a large highly representative combination piece from the early days of Dalnegorsk material reaching the West.
