Quartz "flower" with Baryte

Item Description

This handsome large cabinet piece consists of a wealth of elegant Quartz crystals in a divergent group that is embellished with a pair of pale honey colored Baryte crystals. The lustrous Quartz crystals range in length from 1 to 5 cm and up to 1 cm in width. Some of the Quartz crystals have bunches of short, 5mm, slender, needle Quartz crystals growing preferentially on select prism faces. There is also an intergrowth of another Quartz crystal cluster on one side. Crystals of similar length and more stoutness adds to the composition of the piece. Two prominent, 4 and 5.5 cm, gemmy, transparent, pale honey-yellow Baryte crystals grace the opposite side of the piece. This is a very pleasing piece with all Quartz points intact on the display front, save a couple of missing crystals, and only a very minor damage to the periphery. Contacted on the bottom where it was removed from the pocket. It looks like a flower, accented by baryte caterpillars! This is an old style, probably early 2000s.
