Item Description

A glistening Quartz crown adorns the top of a stout cluster of Smoky Quartz crystals, together producing a nicely composed miniature. The nearly circular, flattened Quartz "crown" or rosette consists of a myriad of radially divergent, tightly grouped, milky tinted, scintillating Quartz crystals that sits adroitly on the Smoky Quartz. It looks like nothing so much as a crystallized flower of sugar, equally translucent throughout ! The Smoky Quartz crystals are crudely terminated on one end , with the transparent glassiness revealing a more intense smoky hue. The Smoky Quartz, although not quite perfect, doesn't have to be as it simply provides a great pedestal for the gorgeous Quartz "crown"! The Quartz "crown" also has an "eye" in the center influenced by the Smoky Quartz underneath for great aesthetics. (Sorry for the mixed metaphors - some of us see the flower, and some see the crown, but in any case it is a really beautiful quartz!).
