Quartz ("flower")

A classic example of the beautifully crystallized "flowers" of Quartz from the southern part of Brazil. Typically these specimens have a bit of purple Amethyst hue to them, but this one is notable clean and white, which is not common in my experience. Dozens of brilliant sharp, lustrous, sparkling white Quartz prisms radiate from a central point to create an almost ethereal specimen. The tips of the crystals are WATER CLEAR and grade into more of a translucent quality in the center. Very attractive and a worthwhile pickup for anybody interested in this material.
