Fascinating "Fenster" Quartz cluster from San Luis Potosi showing skeletal or negative faces on the terminations with tan clay inclusions. The display view is highlighted by a trio of Quartz terminations with both end members being double terminated and two of the three sharing a common crystal face. It is easy to get lost in all of the textural components and growth features throughout these Quartz crystals. Truly amazing crystals! There are numerous tiny bubble inclusions throughout the crystals although none appear to have obvious moving bubbles. While the transparency and glassy luster of the crystals tend to mask any imperfections or contacting associated with the piece, it is noted that there are small nicks on the terminations. Ex. A. L.
