Item Description

This specimen is labeled as coming from Aramberri which is a municipality in the state of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. I cannot find an entry for any Quartz specimens like this coming from this area, so if anybody out there has some insight as to a more accurate locality for this piece, please let us know. This miniature specimen features fine sharp, lustrous, translucent, slightly smoky colored crystals showing excellent "window" or "Fenster" (in German) habits with attractive internal viewing zones. The piece is crystallized all the way around, and it's actually doubly-terminated (very close to being a complete "floater) and really looks beautiful from all sides.
