Item Description

Rutile included in quartz specimens are very rare compared to the gorgeous and famous brookite and brookite included in quartz pieces from Taftan. Striking, intergrown, stellate sprays of splendent, golden-yellow rutile needles with brown cores look fabulous within the two, aesthetically intergrown, sharply terminated, water-clear quartz crystals. The termination of the smaller quartz is lightly bruised, but this remains a very showy, highly represenative example of this combination rarity. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
