Item Description
Helvine, an uncommon Be-Mn silicate, is RARE from this well-known extinct tungsten-molybdenum deposit, that was mined for military supply during the Soviet Era. This very sculptural 360-degree cluster of limpid quartz points hosts scattered clusters of helvine crystals. Sharp brown octahedrons, to 8 mm, are enclosed in one side of the impressive large dominating quartz crystal AND tiny helvines are enclosed in small side car crystals and the large crystal on another side of this very sculptural, pristine and RARE small cabinet from the Herb Obdda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $400 more than seven years ago, it is worth more today.
