Item Description
Quartz is beloved for it thousands of habits found around the world. Some of the most distinctive Quartz specimens found in Alpine deposits are the attractive "Faden" crystal groups. This crystal group shows the classic "Faden" (German word for string) form that is well known from this area. The piece exhibits a fairly notable "Fadens" that runs across the fine, sharp, lustrous, colorless, gemmy crystals (some are doubly-terminated) that create this beautiful group. The overall quality of the crystals on this specimen is good, with only minimal nicks. These Pakistani pieces seemed to have dried up in recent years, and I personally think they are highly underappreciated for what they are. Enjoy.
