Item Description

Mineral specimens of any species are quite rare from this obscure Pakistan district, except for a few exceptional and highly unusual quartz pieces. Here is another rare, striking and excellent example from the Herb Obodda Collection # 1932. A 2.5 cm, limpid, doubly terminated quartz crystal is fantastically perched atop a doubly terminated floater quartz crystal with dramatic, staggered, upper terminations. The gem quartz crystal looks faceted, just like classic New York Herkimer "diamonds". The iron oxide coating add color character to this facinating, 360-degree specimen. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only the most trivial, barely noticeable bruising to the "diamond" tips. Value of such a unique Pakistan rarity to the locality or species collector?? MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERON!!!
