Quartz crystal with phantoms (outstanding brilliance)

This is, without a doubt, one of the most brilliantly glassy and lustrous quartz crystals I have ever seen. FROM ANYWHERE. This very pale purple crystal is absolutely pristine save for the contacted base; and it is razor sharp and perfectly transparent. The internal patterning adds a level of sparkle and interest to a crystal that is otherwise so transparent you would hardly even know it was there. Above the crazings are whispy Amethyst and Smoky phantoms that subtly but dramatically highlight the crystal. Really, just an incredible specimen. MUCH better, even, in person. ex Charlie Key collection, and valued $750-900 or more. IT IS MESMERIZING IN PERSON - we will promise, on that....and this is a comment made after we have seen ad handled literally thousands of crystals from this locale, and been generally bored to death with the singles at this point. even so, this leaps out and hits you in the eyes.
