Item Description
This is a classic Arkansas Quartz with large, sharp crystals, from one of the largest specimen mines for quartz that we have seen over the decades. Quality varies, over time, but this is a very choice specimen for the size range. Gene collected this himself on a trip there in the 1980s! So it is a self collected quartz, from the collection of gem species collector Gene Meieran. It has never been to the lab for a proper cleaning, so this is au naturale, what it looks like coming out of the ground!
