Item Description

The famous Quartz crystals from various localities in Arkansas are among the finest quality examples of the species ever found. They are typically completely colorless, a sign of chemical purity, are often show superb crystal form with excellent transparency. This piece is a wonderful thumbnail example of this material featuring a fantastic, razor-sharp, very lustrous, GEM QUALITY, colorless, hexagonal prism with a few additional Quartz crystals on the base to create a very showy overall piece. The label on the side of the Perky box states that this Quartz crystal is "left-handed", but it looks "right-handed" based upon the position of the "s" face. No damage that I can find to the main crystal. Despite the number of specimens on the market, it's relatively rare to find excellent thumbnail sized specimens of this material.
