Item Description

A large, sculptural, colorful and excellent older combination piece from the famous Ray Mine. The dramatic, 12.0 cm vug is lined with scintillating quartz crystals and is surrounded by banded bright powder-blue to blue-green chrysocolla. The spherical aggregates of the sparkly, tiny quartz points add much character. The rhyolite matrix is shot through with striking veins and vugs and is covered with crusts of chrysocolla on all sides. Fine Ray Mine material.
