Quartz (Cat's Eye)

Item Description

Cat's Eye gems are not terribly common, and even though I have seen Quartz Cat's Eye gems, they usually are included with another mineral to create the actual "eye". This stone however, is not included with another mineral species, but still shows a fairly sharp and somewhat distinct "eye" when strongly lit. The gem has a light golden/cream color, and is somewhat gemmy internally, and is certainly one of the few that I have encountered. The stone has an "Oval Cabochon" cut.
