Item Description
A lovely small cabinet sized specimen of sparkling white Quartz after Calcite from the lesser known Ohio Mine in the well known amphitheater just east of the town of Ouray in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The secondary "sugary" Quartz crystals are replacing preexisting Calcite scalenohedra (called "casts"). Specimens from this area are not common on the market, as this one was collected in 2014 by Robert Stoufer.
