Quartz and Hematite

Dramatic and sculptural large 360-degree spray of hematite-included and coated, glassy, lustrous, transparent to translucent, terminated quartz crystals from this small well-known hill worked by local farmers. Crystals in this dramatic jackstraw cluster reach 8.0 cm and the striking horizontal crystal with the small crystals attached at the tip is noteworthy. Hidden at the base in the interior are a couple of classic hematite "iron roses", an attractive typical combination for the locale. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. with only one broken out-of-sight tip noted on the back. Ex. Herb Obodda Collection and valued by Herb at $1250 over 8 years ago. This is an uncommon hematite coloration for Jinlong Hill. An extremely fine and aesthetic large specimen from the locale.
