Quartz / Amethyst (with moving water bubble!)

Some of the finest quality and diverse Quartz specimens in the world come from the Goboboseb Mountain in Namibia. Truly most of these specimens are labeled as Brandberg, but the actual pieces are from the mountain which is about 8 miles away from there. This specimen is a very good quality Quartz crystal with colorless areas along with purple Amethyst and very slightly smoky Quartz zones inside. The piece has great luster and superb internal clarity to boot, and looks better in person, it was somewhat difficult to photograph. There are a few nicks, so it's not 100% perfect, but it's still a very high quality crystal overall. The most interesting aspect of the piece is that is contains a moving water bubble!
