Some of the finest quality and diverse Quartz specimens in the world come from the Goboboseb Mountain in Namibia. Truly most of these specimens are labeled as Brandberg, but the actual pieces from from the mountain which is about 8 miles away from there. This specimen is a very good quality Quartz specimen with colorless Quartz, DEEP rich purple Amethyst and light Smoky Quartz with a notable amount sceptering at the base. The crystal actually shows hollow/negative skeletal/"window" faces included with tan clay near the termination. The piece has GREAT luster and gemminess to boot. Retail value is $950.
