Some of the finest quality and diverse Quartz specimens in the world come from the Goboboseb Mountain in Namibia. Truly most of these specimens are labeled as Brandberg, but the actual pieces from from the mountain which is about 8 miles away from there. This specimen is a very good quality Quartz with colorless Quartz, purple Amethyst and Smoky Quartz featuring beautiful cavernous, hoppered internal "windows" or "Fensters" as they are called in Germany, Switzerland or Austria. The piece has great luster and gemminess to boot, and looks better in person, it was somewhat difficult to photograph. Nearly perfect on the display side (I can see a MICRO nick on the termination), and obviously contacted on the back where it was removed from the pocket wall. Retail value is $1,850.00.
