Item Description
A wonderful set of Quartz-lined geodes from Las Choyas, Mexico which have been sliced in half and polished. The interior of each half features crystallized Amethyst points, with minor associated Calcite, which are in turn surrounded by multi-colored banded Agate around the periphery.
This set comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936.
