Quartz / Agate Geode slice

Here we have a really eye-catching piece of these classic Agate / Quartz geodes from Barros Cassal. In the Agate trade, you might see these labeled as a mini coco, or simply a "Geodinho" in Brazil. This piece was cut and from a crystal-line geode, and then later sliced and polished to better show the beautiful exterior "rind" of colorful Cloud Agate, with the highly desirable Barros Cassal swirl patterns. Looking closely, you can see small sparkling, "jewel"-like colorless Quartz crystals which line the interior. The exterior features a great mix of colors including golden, caramel, coffee, red, and white / colorless. Some of my favorite Agate in the world, and really underappreciated for its beauty I think.
